I was overwhelmed when I was invited to the pre-launched cozy party at Tangs Orchard on a cheery afternoon.
Many thanks for the lovelies at Benefit Singapore for the invitation and the lovely decorations that helps set the mood for the day. It was nice chatting with you girls, hope we do meet again soon.
I loved the fun and light atmosphere once I step into the small yet welcoming function room. The friendly host and the ladies from Benefit made me feel like it’s an intimate and lovely affair.
Just look at the nicely decorated room and the colorful cupcakes.

To kick start, the lovely lady in green, Catherine briefs us through of the story and branding of Benefit and why did they actually choose to venture into the skincare line after such a long time.
And... What is Benefit famous for?
Love the whimsical designs for the slides as well, I love that there is always the factor of fun in their presentations.
Did you know that the founders Jean and Jane Ford actually tossed a coin to determine whether they should either take up selling casseroles or makeup?
I am so glad that the final decision was makeup as I am going to be so devastated without my favorite eye primer, the Benefit’s Stay Don’t Stray.

Actually why did they actually venture into the skincare line after focusing on only cosmetics all along?
When Jean and Jane Ford actually asked themselves that what do their consumers needs and wants from Benefit, it hit them that it would be great to have a basic skincare range to help consumers like you and me to get the most out of our beauty products.
With a better complexion and vitality, your face will actually look more beautiful and youthful after the application of makeup. There would be more features to accentuate and lesser flaws to conceal as well.
