What is this party all about?
It’s a party to congratulate the selected 30 bloggers out of the 100 for making it to the next stage.
The much anticipated prize?
A 6 day 4 night trip to Korea. *started drooling*

The party was generously hosted @ Bounce in Bugis Illuma.
While trying to locate Bounce in Bugis Illuma, I was greeted with a pleasant flood on greenery as it is located at the sky terrace level.
I love the atmosphere to bits as it’s as through an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Though, I still kind of caught a glimpse of the HDB flat from a distance away. =X
With such a centralized location, it’s such a good opportunity for shopaholics like me to indulge in some retail therapy. I must say it’s a situation where 1 stone really kills 2 birds.
The theme of the day was: to unleash the SUPERSTAR in you.
Ta dah~ Unleashing the rich tai-tai in me =X
With the theme in consideration, I don a simple black dress ensemble with dashes of green, gold and orange in the form of accessories to give a zest of colous to my outfit.
Before I forget, someone did mention that I look like some rich tai-tai or mistress wannable. Hmm…what do you girls think?

Back to the Bio-essence’s Superstar Bloggers Party,
Once I set my foot in Bounce, the place was pleasantly decorated and I was greeted by the 3 lovely ladies that were manning the reception table.
The tables were already at least half full with fellow bloggers chatting away.
I move in to look for a seat and quickly glance around the room to look for any familiar faces.
Being panicky like usual, my earring dropped on the floor and in a rush to pick it up, Gin caught sight of me. It was really comforting to be able to find someone I knew. I met Gin on quite a number of events and she’s a really nice person.
Not forgetting to mention that the ladies seated around my table were all so fun loving and friendly as well.
Guess I was lucky as some tables seemed a little too quiet for my liking. Either that or we are really noisy. =X
With some extra time in hand, I took a look around at the beautiful venue.
The beautifully decorated booth, though all the Bio-essence BB cream here are actually all empty.
It was kind of funny as we were all so excited when we were called to select one bottle each later in the party and felt kinda cheated when we found out the cruel truth. LOL

We were then given a short briefing on what is in store for us in the next challenge and before long, it was a break for some refreshments.
Boy, the food is indeed good and I really meant it. As it is buffet styled, there is more than plenty for everyone.
Heartfelt thanks to the lovelies at Bio-essence for the fabulous meal I had.
With the brain food provided, I was all ready and energized for the next part of the party.
Before I forget, Gin was really fascinated at the desserts and keeps saying: I’ll go get some, let’s share ok? Let’s share ok?
The word share was like mentioned at least 5 times throughout the whole conversation, till I can’t help myself but disturb her about it. =X
There was even a live demonstration on facial care while we were enjoying our meals.
Letting us understand more on how to achieve a more photogenic self.
Getting to know what is actually the roots of all out skincare issues. Plus look at the cute Wii Me character.
It was really enriching as we were introduced to Bio-essence other range of products and were taught on various massaging techniques to look out for.
Not forgetting on how to go through with a proper skincare regime to achieve healthier skin and a more V-line contoured you.
What I learnt:
- It’s a must to exfoliate dead skin for better skincare product absorption.
- The correct application of the toner is to soak cotton pad in sufficient toner before patting in on your face using an up-ward motion to achieve an increased absorption while providing an up-lifting effect for more contoured face.
- Using the correct way of massaging actually boost the effectiveness of the product, thus let’s not be lazy girls in order to maximize what you spend to get the best results.
Though I was a little distracted with my food, the demonstration was easy to understand and the speakers was very information and confident in what she was doing.

I am really all hyped up for it and quickly thought of a theme before rushing to the able to join the zealous ladies.
With the theme in mind, I quickly did my selection and return to the table as we were only given 25 minutes to decorate it as I am a slowpoke in nature.

- Sequins for a speck of colour.
Colour theme:
- Purple, White, Peach for a sweet yet elegant hue of colour.

A group of hardworking ladies busy creating their masterpieces.
With my clumsy nature and buttery fingers, I tried my very best to not let my nervousness gets the better of me.
Apparently I still messed it up a little by getting the UHU glue all around my nicely painted nails. It kind of ruined my manicure but it is all ok in the name of art.
Ta dah~ Finally my sweet masterpiece is done.
Well I guess a little sacrifice is all right with the great accomplishment I've got from the completion of my darling Prom Queen.

And so they have all became friends.

The party just does not stop at Bounce, i got to bring a lovely trial kit home as well.
A generous Bio-essence trial kit was given to us to experiment with.
How it looks like after opening.
After using the 3 step skincare trial kit, I realised that:

Some recommended materials that you can use for your creation.
- Brainstorm for a creative theme on how to dress up your Bio-essence BB cream.
- Sketch up a rough guide on what will be the outcome if time permits.
- Start looking for knickknacks or decorative small items in your house before venturing out to buy some.
- Go to book shop or crafting shops to source for your items.Some idea places would be: Daiso, Papermarket, Spotlight, Art friend and the usual book stores like: Popular and Kinokuniya to name a few..
- Prepare items like: UHU glue, double sided tape, scissors, pen knife and the rest of the tools you will need.
- Start on creating your masterpieces and ultimately do have lotsa fun.
