Face detoxification

• Contains: Highly porous Marine mineral clay, Kaolin and power ingredients to absorb surface sebum, impurities and helps in the regulation of oil secretion.
• Recommended usage: Twice a week or as when needed

The proper application method:

The beginning of the 'live' demonstration. Ensure both your face and hands are properly cleansed and dry.
 

Smooth a thin layer of the Shiseido’s The Skincare Purifying Mask on your face evenly using gentle circular motions, avoiding the eye and mouth area.
 

Leave it on for about 5 minutes. Rinse the mask off thoroughly after the waiting time.

For best results:

• Exfoliate your face using a gentle facial scrub to remove impurities like: exposed white and blackheads.
• Tone and moisturize your face.

Comments

I love the fact that the results are visible even after just the first usage of the Shiseido’s The Skincare Purifying Mask.

I am currently on my second tube of the Shiseido’s The Skincare Purifying Mask and I am madly in love with it.

It’s like a pampering treat for my skin as it always feel rejuvenating after usage and I experience lesser pain while trying to do my own extraction of the stubborn white and blackheads that I have.

My face feels extremely smooth and makeup seems to glide on effortlessly on the next day. My enlarged pores on my cheeks and nose seemed smaller too.

Not forgetting that all this fabulous results are just within a short 5 minute D.I.Y facial that I can simply do at home.

My Verdict
10 out of 10 stars for its elegant packaging, functional results and time saving properties.

Will I buy it again?

DEFINITELY YES, as I am so in love with the results I witness so far and it’s more than what I imagined when I first made my purchase from the counter.

Girls, do give it a try. Even though it’s a little pricey, I personally find that it is worth the investment when you see the amount of white and blackheads it pushes out.

Do note that the detoxification of the skin is essential for better skin vitality and results in a happier you when you see your skin’s improvement.

I am really in love with my current bottle of the Sana’s Hadanomy Collagen Mist as it helps to improve the condition of my dry cheeks with the new found softness and bounciness.

The handy yet solid packaging makes it easy to carry around for an instant wake me up whenever I feel sluggish or when my eye lids feel heavy. 

Super love the pink and lacy design as it adds a girlish touch to the packaging.

The lovely and delicate rose scent is a major plus point for the instant relieve of tiredness and I love the fact that it does not irritate my sensitive nose.

I personally find that it is great for other body parts like the neck, arms and legs too. I actually use it for my legs and knees to help soothe the dryness and occasionally rash problems as well.

My Verdict

9 out of 10 stars for being a staple.

Will I buy it again?

DEFINITELY YES, as I do not encounter any form of allergy with the constant usage of the Sana’s Hadanomy Collagen Mist. 

I am actually allergic to some of the facial mists out in the market including branded expensive ones.

ACNE go AWAY

Who loves acne or pimples?

They keep torturing us with their visits and torment our joyful teenage days. How I wish that they will be gone for good.

I know that prevention is better than cure.Yet it’s so difficult to keep them 100% away from our skin.

For those emergency times, let me share with you one of my effective cure to combat annoying pimples.

People often comment how good my skin is but I am only human, I do too have flaws and suffer from acne outbreaks as well.

No one is perfect, so don’t be depressed when you have outbreaks like I do.

What I am currently using to battle acne is,

The Body Shop’s Tea Tree Oil

A little does go a long way with the use of The Body Shop’s Tea Tree Oil.

 Recommended way of usage: With the help of a clean cotton bud, direct it at the opening to dispense an appropriate amount of the The Body Shop’s Tea Tree Oil. Cap the bottle and proceed to apply it directly on the pimple. 

Note: Do use the other end of the cotton bud or a new stick if you need to dispense more of the product as it prevents contamination of the remaining tea tree oil in the bottle.

What you should know about it,

• Priced @ $16.90 for a 10ml bottle
• Has anti bacterial properties.
• Helps to soothe blemishes.
• It’s a natural acne fighting agent.
• A targeted solution.

• Helps to dry up the pimple.
• Effective in curing my pimple in just a few days.
• Pocket friendly as only a little is required each time.
• Dropper type dispenser prevents wastage.

• Slight stinging sensation upon application.

The Body Shop’s Tea Tree Oil helps to dry up my pimples instantly upon apply it and I pretty much love its fast healing effect.

It also helps to soothe my inflamed skin around the pimple too.

I personally felt that the stinging sensation and strong tea tree smell can be a put off but hey, it’s considered as medication for your pimples right?

So no more complains if it's an remedy that works ha-ha.

My Verdict

9 out of 10 stars.

Will I buy it again?

YES, as it works for both me and my brother.

Majolica Majorca's Chapter 28's Workshop

First to set things right, for all the loyal fans following the brand: Majolica Majorca would have realized that this is a backdated entry.

Last year has been a heretic year for me with all the major projects at work, going to the hospital and so on so forth. Thus a deep apology if these entry or a few entries are late.

Other than that, this entry still carries the earnest excitement of sharing with you girls what I learn from the Majolica Majorca's Chapter 28's Workshop.

Back to the post, so what's the result with the combination of 2 of my favourite thing? 

Namely: Majolica Majorca + Watsons?

It's none other than a special invitation to Majolica Majorca beauty workshop, being extremely privileged, I was selected to spend a lovely Thursday evening @ Shiseido's beauty studio.

A little confused about why it is held at Shiseido premises? Actually Majolica Majorca is a part of Shiseido's big family of fabulous brands.

Enough of introductions, let's get to the juicy bits,

The theme for the Majolica Majorca's workshop is the Queen of Decoration.

What interesting about Majolica Majorca is that they introduce their new products in the sequence of chapters where there is an interesting story behind each of them.

As the story slowly unfolds, it's as though we are being envelop in a fairy tale while excitedly anticipating the next chapter.

The venue for the workshop is once again the familiar and cozy function hall.

Why did I say it was familiar, rack your brains ladies. For those who have went to one of Shiseido's sales, would probably get what I am trying to say.

The tools prepared for each individual for the workshop.

I personally really love the Black and Gold theme that Majolica Majorca have.

Meet Wilson, our makeup artist whose conducting the workshop for the day.

Wilson is an enthusiastic and humorous guy. He's jokes were really funny and it really did help to break the stale and quiet atmosphere.

Curious about what are chapter 28’s new launches?
 

One of the highlight of the day was the Jeweling Eye Shadow Quad.

They are none other than:

1. Lash Gorgeous Wing Neo Mascara – for a more dramatic look with increased feathering effect.
2. Eye Reset Gel – specially formulated to remove Majolica Majorca's really waterproof and hard to remove mascara while provides nourishment to the lashes. Infused with Macadamia oil and Vitamin E.
3. Jeweling Eye Shadow Quad – 3 new exciting colours.

Followed up by an introduction to the legend aka. fairy tale behind the adoption of the name: Majolica Majorca and the story behind chapter 28.

Next, we were then briefed and introduced to some of Majolica Majorca products and steps to take note during makeup application,

The hands on session was really interactive as I get to play around with Majolica Majorca products to achieve the final look that Wilson, the makeup artist did on the kind volunteer.

Without further ado, let me share with you girls the simple step to achieve a more beautiful you,

First, cleanse and prep your skin with the use of the toner and moisturizer.

Face

• Thinly apply a layer of makeup base for the entire face area and on your eye lids as well.
• Apply foundation using a patting motion on your entire face area and on your eye lids as well.

Note:

• Test on jaw area to find the proper shade that is closest to your face.
• Choose 1 shade lighter for Majolica Majorca powder foundation as oxidation does occurs and it will appear darker after some time.
• Hold sponge in a U shape when picking up the foundation from the pan as it gives a more precise application.

Eyes

• Use your fingers to apply eye shadows for easy handling and blending.
• Shape your brows using a light shade of brown to avoid being too fierce or stern looking.
• Highlight the area under your brows for an instant wake-up look.

Cheeks

• Apply a hint of colour to the apple of your cheeks with the help of a blusher.

Lips

• Apply a thin layer of gloss to finish the whole look.

Ultimately, how I felt about the Majolica Majorca's Chapter 28's Workshop,

For me, I kind of strayed a little from the group and did a smoky purple eye look to create a focal point on my face and keep the rest of the makeup light and muted.

I personally felt that the time wasn't really enough as I did not have enough time to apply the gloss on my lips properly.

Nevertheless, it was fun and light-hearted as Wilson was very patient with us even though our group was not really responsive. His explanations were easy to understand too.

The ladies around my table were all really well-mannered as we all took turns passing around the makeup products to share for the session.

Last but not least, getting to try Majolica Majorca's products that I do not owe makes me a really happy girl too.
