First to set things right, for all the loyal fans following the brand: Majolica Majorca would have realized that this is a backdated entry.
Last year has been a heretic year for me with all the major projects at work, going to the hospital and so on so forth. Thus a deep apology if these entry or a few entries are late.
Other than that, this entry still carries the earnest excitement of sharing with you girls what I learn from the Majolica Majorca's Chapter 28's Workshop.

Back to the post, so what's the result with the combination of 2 of my favourite thing?
Namely: Majolica Majorca + Watsons?
It's none other than a special invitation to Majolica Majorca beauty workshop, being extremely privileged, I was selected to spend a lovely Thursday evening @ Shiseido's beauty studio.
A little confused about why it is held at Shiseido premises? Actually Majolica Majorca is a part of Shiseido's big family of fabulous brands.

Enough of introductions, let's get to the juicy bits,
The theme for the Majolica Majorca's workshop is the Queen of Decoration.
What interesting about Majolica Majorca is that they introduce their new products in the sequence of chapters where there is an interesting story behind each of them.
As the story slowly unfolds, it's as though we are being envelop in a fairy tale while excitedly anticipating the next chapter.
The venue for the workshop is once again the familiar and cozy function hall.
Why did I say it was familiar, rack your brains ladies. For those who have went to one of Shiseido's sales, would probably get what I am trying to say.

I personally really love the Black and Gold theme that Majolica Majorca have.
Meet Wilson, our makeup artist whose conducting the workshop for the day.
Wilson is an enthusiastic and humorous guy. He's jokes were really funny and it really did help to break the stale and quiet atmosphere.

One of the highlight of the day was the Jeweling Eye Shadow Quad.

Next, we were then briefed and introduced to some of Majolica Majorca products and steps to take note during makeup application,

The hands on session was really interactive as I get to play around with Majolica Majorca products to achieve the final look that Wilson, the makeup artist did on the kind volunteer.

Without further ado, let me share with you girls the simple step to achieve a more beautiful you,
First, cleanse and prep your skin with the use of the toner and moisturizer.

Face
- Thinly apply a layer of makeup base for the entire face area and on your eye lids as well.
- Apply foundation using a patting motion on your entire face area and on your eye lids as well.
Note:
- Test on jaw area to find the proper shade that is closest to your face.
- Choose 1 shade lighter for Majolica Majorca powder foundation as oxidation does occurs and it will appear darker after some time.
- Hold sponge in a U shape when picking up the foundation from the pan as it gives a more precise application.

Eyes
- Use your fingers to apply eye shadows for easy handling and blending.
- Shape your brows using a light shade of brown to avoid being too fierce or stern looking.
- Highlight the area under your brows for an instant wake-up look.

Cheeks
- Apply a hint of colour to the apple of your cheeks with the help of a blusher.

Lips
- Apply a thin layer of gloss to finish the whole look.

Ultimately, how I felt about the Majolica Majorca's Chapter 28's Workshop,
For me, I kind of strayed a little from the group and did a smoky purple eye look to create a focal point on my face and keep the rest of the makeup light and muted.

I personally felt that the time wasn't really enough as I did not have enough time to apply the gloss on my lips properly.
Nevertheless, it was fun and light-hearted as Wilson was very patient with us even though our group was not really responsive. His explanations were easy to understand too.
The ladies around my table were all really well-mannered as we all took turns passing around the makeup products to share for the session.
Last but not least, getting to try Majolica Majorca's products that I do not owe makes me a really happy girl too.
